I have worked on a chapter of  Vie et mort de l’image of Régis Debray. The layout, compact and systematic, makes the text look like an infinite grey.
The first part of this chapter, “la Transmission symbolique” (the symbolic transmission) is about the conflictual relationship between text and image. In this edition, the text appears first. But the size of the pages depends on the images. I wanted to make the artworks get out of the text and finally replace it.
The second part of this chapter is the individualization of visual culture. That’s why I propose you to build your own little personal museum !
